CD dramas = AU?

I was listening again to the Ritsu&Soubi character CD drama and noticed this.
(There's actually a lj-cut, but it may not show for some people. just click to read the comments and the content will show up)

After listening to the CD drama I noticed that not only are CD dramas more gag than the real manga, they don't even share the same story.
It makes me think that whoever writes the stories for the CDs don't know what Kouga Yun has in mind.

In the Ritsu&Soubi character CD we have Ritsu writing a story about how Soubi comes back to him telling him "it was a mistake to follow Seimei or Rituka, please, forgive me", and how Ritsu replies something like "it's ok, I knew you'd be back".
A situation like that is what we all thought before reading current manga chapters.
We always thought Soubi left on his own and that Ritsu wanted to keep him, but lately we found out it was actually Ritsu who gave Soubi away while Soubi wanted to stay with him...

It seems we should consider everything on CD dramas as a different universe (^^;;  (I was almost doing it already though)

That picture is soooo cute. I haven't seen it anywhere, where did you get it?

As for the CD drama, I haven't heard it at all but yes, that does sound OOC.

Well, I consider the drama's to be nonofficial side stories, given that sometimes there're new characters running around in them. There're claims that the 'new' team Voiceless found out that Seimei had a swiss bank account with a lot of money in it... I don't think that necessarily holds in the manga.

I'm guessing that Yun-sensei approves the plot outlines, but we should consider what goes on as canon.

I think it's ok to have new charas added as long as they don't suppose an obstacle for the main plot.
What I noticed is that, in dramas, main charas' personalities change a lot, they become more comical (^^;;;

But it looks like they had an argument at the end. I suppose Soubi does hate Ritsu for some reason, but Ritsu once invited him to visit Nanatsu no Tsuki, visit Ritsu. He probably just wanted to see Soubi and be related, without making him a fighter.

And yeah, I'm aggree that anime dramas are somewhat fabricated.))

yeah, by the way, that's from zerosum chapters scanlation. I advice downloading chapters, scanlated by wondermilky, because her scans are always wonderful quality, gigantic rezolution and includ coloured covers. :3 She is da best!

But Ritsu would never think it was "Soubi's mistake to follow Seimei", as if he never wanted Soubi to part from him (-_-)
They should learn more about Loveless before writing such a script!

The guy is kind of disturbing but he is cute. You know, he looks a lot like soubi except with short hair. I swear, when I read the manga, if they just show the face, I get confuse. I mean, their eyes are the same and they both wear glasses, or maybe it just me.

At first I thought Ritsu was his brother or something, or maybe cousin but after the december chapter that went down the drain. I wonder what Soubi mother look like?

I am from russian fandom and a couple month ago we had a discussion about it. We all agreed that dramas as well as manga specials are AU.

Umm... that may be true, but I really want to think most of the time it's the same universe (T_T)
I guess I'll just take what suits the main plot and leave apart what doesn't.

...theres more then one drama for them? i read one translation ...soemthing about touring all over jaoan to sample many odens :S

where might there be a translation for THIS one you listened to, and where can i dounlaod both S&R dramas?

The one I'm talking about is not Soubi/Ritsuka, it's Soubi/Ritsu (Soubi's teacher).
I don't know if there's any translation of this CD drama.
As to where to download it from, I got it from the lovelessmedia community some time ago, I think.
